Sun into Virgo/Sun Trine Chiron/Mercury into Virgo/Mercury into Virgo/Mercury Trine Chiron/Sun Mercury Cazimi in Virgo/Lunar Eclipse AKA Full Moon at 4° Pisces
It's late, but better than never! Site is pretty much almost done now!
To catch us up for this post, we need to talk about the Sun entering Virgo on August 22nd, 2026 at 10:19 PM EDT, Virgo is the sign represented by the Virgin. This sign is co-ruled by Mercury which also rules Gemini, so both of these signs are known for being quick-witted and intellectual. Virgo is known for being the detail-oriented and perfectionist one though. Virgos are typically of two types, the type that are super organized and the type that have things in doom piles. They know what's in their piles though. Virgos have the reputation for being organized, but that's not always the case, but they do seem to live by a certain type of system or systems. They make great accountants and are excellent in any type of position where precision and meticulousness is key. Some other things/positions that are ruled by Virgo are one's health, public health, health services, healing, healers, medical professions, sanitation/sanitation inspectors, teachers, waitstaff/servers//hospitality, one's employment, jobs, employees, the GI system/digestive tract and all related illnesses, gardens/gardeners, retail grocers, groceries, libraries/librarians, civil service/civil service employees, clerks, clerical work, chastity, closets, clothing, editors/editing/editorial staff, food/purveyors of food/where food is stored, and public illness. During Virgo Season, these things are all more at play, and are all going to be at the forefront and will come into the spotlight, especially because we also had Mercury move into Virgo as well (see further down) which means these things are more likely to be talked about as Mercury is the planet of communication, thoughts, and ideas.
Sun in Virgo Trine Chiron (inner wounds and traumas and also what heals them) in Taurus (rules the body, luxury, sensuality, money/banks/where money is held/bank tellers/finance/financial prospects/cash/money lenders, possessions, cashiers, beauty/one's response to beauty, music/musical ability/musicians/singers, precious stones/jewelry, profit and loss, wealth) on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026 at 3:30 PM EDT is an aspect that takes the ego/identity/status/authority/ambition of Virgo and keywords and stuff that it rules above and it puts it in an harmonious aspect with Chiron (The Wounded Healer) which has to do with inner wounds and traumas and also what heals them in the sign of Taurus and all of the things it rules. But, just because it is a harmonious aspect, it doesn't mean it is always great, it just means there is no work required which can make people lazy and not put in the effort needed for these things to transpire. The planets incline, they do not compel.
Mercury moved into Virgo on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026 at 7:04 AM EDT. Mercury moving into Virgo puts it in its Exalted position which means it is at its most functional and performing at its best here. It is super happy in Virgo. As I mentioned above, it is meticulous, detail-oriented, quick-witted, intellectual, intelligent, it can be a perfectionist, but it excels where precision is necessary. Mercury will be in Virgo until it enters Libra on September 10th, 2026 at 12:21 PM EDT. Venus (planet of love, one-on-one relationships, finances, beauty) also enters Scorpio that day at 4:07 AM EDT. Also on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, Mercury in Virgo was Trine Chiron in Taurus at 2:57 PM EDT. So, here we have the planet of communication, ideas, thoughts, short distance travel, technology, social media, sales, neighborhoods, neighbors, and siblings, all again with the keywords and things that Virgo rules above like health, public illness, food, GI related illnesses, etc... and again, you can see how there was a lot of communication (Mercury) on social media (Mercury) revolving around these issues with all of the food related illnesses (Virgo) and public illness (Virgo) and it will probably get worse if not better because it involves our inner traumas and wounds (Chiron) and it doesn't seem like there is anything being done about it any of it at a larger level.
Sun Mercury Cazimi at 4° Virgo on Thursday, August 27th, 2026 1:04 PM EDT. Thursday, Mercury was Cazimi the Sun which means it is within 17 minutes of the Sun forming an exact Conjunction. It becomes Elevated here and both planets perform at a greater state than they can at any other time. At this time, the thinking and learning process becomes almost instantaneous and free-flowing. It is great for writers and teachers, but elevates anyone during this time period which is short. Since it was in Virgo it would highlight all of the positive traits about Virgo listed above.
Just a heads up, this one will be long because all of the planets are involved in this Lunar Eclipse, so fair warning! The Lunar Eclipse/Full Moon at 4° Pisces was early yesterday morning, Friday, August 28th, 2026 at 12:18 AM, followed by a day of transits. Eclipses are long-lasting transits that have effects up to 6 months and longer because they go in cycles. To start off, we have the Sun in Virgo at 4° (status/ambition/ego/identity/authority) related to one's health, public health, health services, healing, healers, medical professions, sanitation/sanitation inspectors, teachers, waitstaff/servers, one's employment, jobs, employees, the GI system/digestive tract and all related illnesses, gardens/gardeners, retail grocers, groceries, libraries/librarians, civil service/civil service employees, clerks, clerical work, chastity, clothing, editors/editing/editorial staff, food/purveyors of food/where food is stored, organizational skills, meticulousness, and public illness, closely Conjunct Mercury also in Virgo coming off the close Conjunction from the day before, so (Mercury) thinking, communication, ideas, things related to short distance travel, sales, neighbors, neighborhoods, siblings, cousins, travel, wheat fields, and social media Opposite the Moon in Pisces at 4°. The Opposition is an aspect that causes tension and conflict which creates areas for growth and opportunity. The Sun in Virgo Opposite the Full Moon at 4° Pisces is the Lunar Eclipse/Blood Moon. The Moon in Pisces at 4° is Conjunct the North Node in Aquarius at 29°. This means the Sun is Conjunct the South Node at 29° Leo. The Nodes represent our past lifetimes and our life paths. The North Node represents where we are headed in this lifetime, and what we are supposed to be accomplishing, our soul's journey. The South Node represents where we have already come from, what we have already learned, our past lives, and what we are trying to move away from because we have already mastered it. So, in this context, the Moon in Pisces which the Moon represents emotions, adaptability, our caretakers, mothers/motherhood, consciousness, our primal/first instincts in a situation, dreams/dream consciousness, homemaking/the home/real estate, marriage affairs, and opinion meets imagination, intuition, sensitivity, creativity, clairvoyance, psychics, occultism, self-undoing, escapism, fog/haze, delusion, addiction/substance use/abuse, and deception/lies which is then Conjunct (tied to in a close relationship bringing out the energies of both planets which can be good or bad depending) with the North Node in Aquarius which means our soul's journey/where we are headed in this lifetime at present/what we are supposed to be accomplishing now in the areas of humanitarianism, the internet, collective change, sudden change, rebellion, social groups/networks/friends/colleagues, eccentricity, and innovation. As I mentioned earlier, these two planets are in an Opposition. They form two Squares (a challenging aspect which can bring growth if hard work is applied) to 5° Uranus in Gemini which creates an aspect known as a T-Square with Uranus in Gemini being the Apex planet. Now, with both of those planets putting pressure on Uranus in Gemini it creates an opportunity for growth, but also applies a LOT of pressure, so there needs to be some release. Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius which is the sign the North Node is currently in which is a good thing because the energies work together. Uranus is sudden change, electricity, rebellion, and the same things I mentioned about Aquarius above. It also has to do with computer systems, astrology, cinemas, eccentricity, airplanes/aviation, freedom, immigration, non-conformists, and hammocks, and Gemini keywords are writing, intellect, quick-witted, communication, thoughts, ideas, social media, websites, influencers, networking, sales, learning, intelligence, information, reporters, debating/debates, short--distance travel and technology like phones, computers, printers, fax machines, etc. Gemini, Virgo, and Pisces are all Mutable signs which is the least difficult of the T-Square varieties because Mutable means Flowing or as I like to remember Mutable=Moving/Movable (a mnemonic). So, the Mutables like to go with the flow and aren't stuck in one energy exactly. For example, we'll start with Virgo, which is Mutable Earth. I kind of think of Virgo energy as an Earthquake because it is Flowing/Moving/Movable Earth and Virgo energy is definitely the least grounded of the Earth energies and can be known for having trouble with anxiety and the nervous system and also things like racing thoughts due to being ruled by Mercury. Then, we have Gemini, which is Mutable Air, I mean it's like a Tornado. You can't catch it, but it keeps things moving around and can be non-stop on the go. Then, we have Pisces, which is Mutable Water, and that is like, well, I like to think of Bruce Lee's famous quote: "Empty your mind. Be formless. Shapeless. Like water. You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” (Bruce Lee also had Neptune Conjunct his MC! LOL!) Pisces, as Mutable Water just becomes whatever it is around, it molds to its environment unless it has other, more prominent signs in the chart that give it more structure. As a T-Square, this means these energies are less likely to do battle against each other. Uranus in Gemini being the Apex planet with the Sun and Moon being in the Opposition position, it gives this a lot more movement because Uranus in Gemini is all about change. Where that change is going to be good or bad, that depends on how you apply it and the aspects to your chart. The next thing that I notice is a Trine from Mars at 10° Cancer from the Moon at 4° Pisces, alongside Ceres at 5° Cancer, and Child at 14° Cancer. With the Moon in Pisces Trining Ceres, Mars, and Child in Cancer, I get a picture of emotions full of intuition, sensitivity, imagination, and creativity being applied to the planet of Mars which rules war, sex drive, ambition, drive, anger, and aggression in Cancer which is sensitive as well, nurturing, caring, giving of one's time and energy. It's also Conjunct Ceres in which is basically the way you mother, nurture, and nourish others regardless of gender and has ties to parenting and also loss and grief and it's in Cancer which is the sign ruling motherhood, parenting, nurturing, caretaking, and basically has very similar vibes. Then, we have Child (asteroid) which represents the inner child that is full of innocence, spontaneous joy, where you feel most safe, and also seek nurturing which is also in Cancer which I'm not repeating because you should know this by now. Now, with all of this in a Trine to the Moon in Pisces that doesn't mean that the possibility for deception/lies, escapism, addiction, and all of the negative traits of Pisces and the negative traits of Cancer like passive-aggressiveness, clinginess, being crabby, moody, and short-fused aren't there or won't appear, again, it depends on the person, their placements, and where it appears in their chart, but this does seem like a super pretty aspect of nurturing and care which brings me to the next aspect that is connected which is these 3 planets/asteroid (with the asteroid it isn't a Stellium technically, and I doubt people would count Ceres either), but we have a Sextile to the Sun/Mercury Conjunction in Virgo at 4°. A Sextile is a generally good aspect that allows the energies to merge and flow allowing for creativity and growth. We have the meshing of the nurturing and sensitive sexuality, drive, and ambition along with the caretaking and nourishment of another and the child-like innocence of being sensitive, open, and playful mixed with the pretty much almost intuitive thought process of the leftover close Conjunction in Virgo of being quick-witted, analytical, intellectual, and intelligent. I mean that's the basic breakdown for that aspect. Next up, we have the 2nd T-Square of this Lunar Eclipse chart. This one is in Cardinal signs. The Cardinal T-Square is the 2nd most difficult of the T-Squares depending on the planets, but if you are going by the Modalities, then yes. This time we have the Opposition between Venus (love, one-on-one relationships, finances, beauty) at 20° Libra (harmony, equality, justice, balance, beauty, fine arts, fashion, grace, florists, love/lovers, marriage, social gatherings, and unions) and Saturn at 13° Aries, Pallas at 22° Aries, Eris at 25° Aries, and Vesta at 27° Aries. Saturn is the planet of Karma, TIme, and Justice, not to mention that Saturn rules foundations, restrictions, buildings, labor/laborers, business/business matters, celibacy, detention, discipline, faithfulness/faithlessness, judgement, and government in Aries which is the Warrior, the Firestarter, the Instigator, and is known for being bold, lustful, takes risks, can be temperamental and angry, Next comes Pallas in Aries. Pallas is an asteroid which rules creative and strategic intelligence and arts/crafts, and weaving. So, Pallas' full name is Pallas Athena and Athena was known for her strategic and creative use of intelligence in battle which would result in her not usually having to fight at all because she would win people over with her words. That's not to say Athena wasn't a skilled warrior though, because she was. Eris is the goddess of discord and strife. She is best known for throwing a golden apple into a wedding party attended by Athena, Aphrodite (Venus), and Hera (Juno) inscribed with "for the fairest". Zeus chose Paris of Troy to pick the winner and he was offered different gifts by each. He chose to marry the most beautiful woman in the world who was offered up by Aphrodite (Venus), which ended up causing the Trojan War because that woman was already married, as she was Helen of Troy, married to Menelaus of Sparta. Eris doesn’t upturn the apple cart for no reason, she does it where she feels she has been a victim of injustice because she was the only one not invited to the wedding. Where are you getting righteous justice for yourself? Lastly, we have Vesta which is named after the Vestal Virgins of Rome and the Goddess of the Hearth (Vesta). The Vestal Virgins tended to Vesta's Sacred Flame in Rome. If the Vestals were caught going against their vows of chastity, they were buried alive in a hole to die. Every home in Rome kept a small hearth fire continuously burning the the Vestals kept the fire at the Temple of Vesta in Rome continuously burning. In the context of astrology, this asteroid represents devotion. What are you relentlessly devoted to? What keeps your home fire burning? Did you catch all of that? So, we have (Venus) the planet of love, relationships, finances, and beauty in the sign of harmony, equality, justice, balance, fine arts, fashion, love/lovers, marriage, unions and social gatherings Opposite Saturn (the planet of Karma, Time, Justice, foundations, business/business matters, celibacy, detention, discipline, faithfulness/faithlessness, judgement, discipline restrictions, labor/laborers and government; Pallas (Athena) the asteroid known for strategic warfare, creative intelligence, arts/crafts, and weaving; Eris the asteroid (and goddess of strife and discord) which represents overturning the apple cart where you seek righteous justice; and last, but not least, we have Vesta, goddess of the hearth and sacred devotion, all in the sign of Aries, the Warrior, Instigator, Firestarter, known for being bold, passionate, risk-taking, an innovator and the pioneer. Then, we have Saturn at 13° Aries Square Mars at 10° Cancer and Child at 14° Cancer with Venus in 20° Libra on the other Square(s) to the Apex planet of Mars and Child the asteroid. This makes up the 2nd T-Square of the Lunar Eclipse. This one has significantly more tension than the first T-Square. First, it's in Cardinal signs which are the signs that get stuff rolling. It makes me think of the Michael Jackson song, "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" because Cardinal signs are the initiators. (Not the whole song obviously) They are the ones that get projects going and create new ventures for the rest of the signs to then add to in their own ways. But, because they are wanting to start something, there is a lot more tension because the energy wants to go in multiple directions at once. It doesn't have the Flow of the Mutables. The Square between Mars/Child in Cancer and Saturn in Aries could indicate some anger and aggression challenges (Mars) surrounding/blocking the inner child (Child) possibly causing restrictions (Saturn) or boundaries (Saturn) to the drive and ambition (Mars) where on the other side of the Square there could be challenges with financial or love (Venus) being caused by anger or aggression (Mars) stemming from inner child (Child) blockages. In order to relieve that tension, you would need to focus heavily on the Apex planet which is Mars in Cancer and Child the asteroid. So, finding ways to relieve the anger and aggression or block in sex drive/sexuality and inner would wounds. Another way to unleash that T-Square would be to go to the Opposite side of the Apex and find 10° Capricorn if you have a planet there or just focus heavily on Capricorn outlets like hiking, gardening, climbing, getting close to nature, etc. From Saturn at 13° Aries which is also Conjunct Neptune at 3° Aries in a wide orb, there are 2 Trines to Jupiter at 12° Leo. Jupiter is the planet of luck, growth, expansion, long distance travel and abundance. In Leo, it is dramatic, has a flare for theatre/the arts, courageous, creative, the sign associated with children, brave, passionate, related to romance, generous, larger than life, and is the star of the show. Jupiter in a Trine to Saturn would bring luck, abundance, and growth to business matters, judgement, Karma, Justice, foundations, building anything, discipline, and would either increase or decrease faithfulness/faithlessness in matters relating to creativity, the theatre/arts, children, romance, passion, courageousness, generosity, drama (both theatrical and other), being in the spotlight and risk-taking, initiating action, innovation, being a pioneer, being a warrior/war-like, fighting, and instigating. Anything Jupiter touches expands and grows it, makes it that much bigger. Jupiter at 12° Leo Trine to Neptune at 3° Aries would cause growth, luck, abundance, and expansion with imagination, intuition, sensitivity, creativity, film/movies, escapism, addiction, substance use/abuse, delusions, illusions/lies, fog/haze, and not seeing things or people clearly in the same stuff as all Aries things I have listened. Back to Uranus at 5° Gemini which is in a Trine to Pluto at 3° Aquarius. I already mentioned Uranus in Gemini earlier and that is Trine (easy, no work, harmonious aspect) to Pluto (the planet of transformation, destruction, control, domination, power plays, subterfuge) in Aquarius which is again humanitarianism, non-conformity, eccentricity, electricity, internet, computer systems, rebellion, and revolution. Which brings us to the last aspect of the Lunar Eclipse, which is a BIG one! This one is a Yod, or otherwise known as the Finger of God. It is 2 Quincunxes, one from Pluto at 3° Aquarius to the Sun at 4° Virgo/Mercury at 5° Virgo Conjunction, one from Neptune at 3° Aries and One Sextile From Neptune at 3° Aries to Pluto at 3° Aquarius forming a giant arrow pointing right at the Sun/Mercury Conjunction. That is the Yod/Finger of God Aspect. This is an important aspect considered fated in astrology and literally points to what needs to be paid attention to in the chart. So, with the two Quincunxes these are aspects where the two planets that are connected have absolutely nothing in common. In this case, we have Sun at 4° Virgo/Mercury at 5° Virgo Quincunx Pluto at 3° Aquarius and Sun at 4° Virgo/Mercury at 5° Virgo Quincunx Neptune at 3° Aries. These aspects have no common ground with each other, so there is a lot of conflict and no understanding because they have no modalities, elements, or polarities in common. They just don't speak the same language or come from the same culture, so there are barriers. They are the sides pointing and creating the Finger. The 2 planets at the top that are forming the Sextile, which as as we already know is a good thing and they are making the bottom part of the triangle in the Yod. The Base, if you will. These 2 planets Neptune in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius are generational planets, but they are making the Lunar Eclipse the Midpoint of the entire Yod, which the Full Moon Opposition 4° Pisces/Virgo running down the center of the Yod to the tip of the Finger of God at the almost exact midpoint which is what's important. Which brings me to the whole point, which is there are a lot of themes to this Lunar Eclipse, but it seems the biggest one is intuitive, imaginative, and sensitive, emotional connection along with clear, logical, thoughts, and healthy communication regarding health, identity, dreams, life paths, goals, etc. Along with challenges regarding love/finances and building/foundations and sudden changes/See above for more keywords. That seems to be the main message of this Lunar Eclipse in Pisces.
Alright everyone! See ya, next time! Don't forget to like and subscribe.
